Yoga From The Core
with Lori Charko
If you have never done
yoga, you will learn fundamental back and abdominal conditioning
exercises, appropriate positioning for sun salutations and
improve your awareness of the core. If you have done yoga, you
will benefit from clarifying the detailed anatomy of the core,
as well as pick up fine tuning techniques and core
visualizations. The yoga postures will be taught with
adjustments to work safely with the physical conditions and
postures of the individual students. Maximum 12 students.

with Jennifer Owens Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, Teacher and Mother
She speaks to us through intuition, vision, and synchronicity. Some times patient and listening, ever present, other times fierce and destructive. Our gut knowing, our creative flow. She is the Divine Mother, Maa, Goddess. It’s time to turn toward your power. The power of listening to how she speaks to you, through you, as you. Authentic, creative woman. Come one and all, we will share and explore the way of the Goddess with Yin postures, Guided Meditation and move through learning to “Feed our Demands” to bring more healing to our life. Bring a journal and something of personal meaning for the altar for blessing.

Developing
Your Home Yoga Practice
with Lori Charko
This class is great for students who have some yoga experience,
and feel comfortable with basic yoga postures. We will have
fun creating a yoga flow incorporating your favorite postures
and personal needs. Learn how to build a safe and balanced
combination of postures for your own yoga practice at home,
while vacationing or when working on the road using your hand
written notes. Practicing yoga is a life long venture that can
be done anytime, and virtually anywhere! Maximum 10 students.
Please come prepared to practice your new flow.
Sunday February 19 - Restorative Yoga: Rejuvenate & Restore
with Nara Henderson Registered Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist
In the powerful and healing practice of Restorative Yoga, we get to unplug our connection to the doing, activities, and the constant go-go-go. We sink into a more gentle, slow, sweet yoga. Physically, we support ourselves in nurturing, soft-looking poses, draped over bolsters, blankets, and pillows. We literally meet ourselves where we are already at in a pose, and then we surrender and soften, and gently dive deep energetically. We bare our soul for the audience of our awareness, and we allow the truth to pour out of us into the Space. A Restorative Yoga practice helps to balance our nervous system response, and allows us to feel rejuvenated and refreshed to take on our lives with more clarity and energy. Come prepared to feel amazing at the end of this workshop!
